Good day to everyone,

I have a question concerning my spark plugs after doing a Seafoam decarb on a 1989 Evinrude 88 horsepower SPL V-4 model E88MSLCER outboard. I have an approximately 11 gallon portable plastic rectangular gas tank that I use all the time for my boating. Anyway, I put 2 each 16 ounce cans of Seafoam in my gas tank 2 times in a row to do a thorough decarb since the gas tank is 11 gallons. Well, I noticed that after I did this after boating for the day all 4 spark plugs look the same meaning that the center electrode comming out of the porcelain is clean very slightly, slightly tan in color. Before I did the treatment the plugs where alot darker and almost black on the center porcelain but now there pretty clean with a very very slight tan color. Is this normal after doing a decarb treatment for the plugs to look that clean there is a little oil on the smooth metal surface surrounding the center electrode and on the threads of the spark plugs themselves? What do you guys think?

Thanks for the reply. I was worried that something was wrong when I looked at the spark plugs and they looked clean all 4 of them.
