Spark Plugs for Merc 9.9 2 stroke

Guys, the Merc 9.9 I just bought has the original Champion perma-gap spark plugs. L78V i think. I assume these are no longer what should be used? A standard NGK plug is best I assume?

What is your model #? most of those I have seen came factory with NGK plugs.
