spark plugs

anyone have an idea on what kind of plugs to use on my 1973 65hp?the plugs in it now are the type that you dont gap should i stay with these?

The parts list says:
SPARK PLUG, Ch ul-77v 3 3 ALTERNATE SPARK PLUGS FOR SPECIAL APPLICATIONS: 386143 AC-M40 FF; 386144 Champion L2G; 386145 CHAMPION L77J
The surface gap plugs are usual I think for sustained high speed operation.
