just wondering how often you guys change spark plugs(hours). could old plugs be causing a high speed miss. I own a 92 175 thats been rebuilt.I plan on changing them but I was just curious.

Re: spark plugs

On my 60* motors I changed them about every year. Just because.

What plugs are you using?

Re: spark plugs

The 78s are a bit hotter. The Y means extended reach. I use the QL77JC4s in mine. If you susupect the plugs, change them. Yes, it's possible for them to cause a miss. Actually not likely but possible.
