Spark plugs?

Ive got a 1967 Johnson Seahorse 3hp 2 cyclinder and Im having a slight difficulty starting it the other day. Usualy it will start (cold) on 3 to 5 pulls and start (warm) on 1 to 2 pulls. Anyway it was taking twice the #'s of pulls stated to get it started on Sunday. I was thinking it may need new plugs. So the question is >> is there a certian plug that I should use and what gap do they need to be at. BTW this motor may have 20 hours on it at best with new coils and condinser's as well as spark plug wire's. Runs great except the # of pulls to get it started as of late. Thanks in ADVANCE!!!

Re: Spark plugs?

Last fall on the carb cleaning and I ran it dry of fuel before putting it away for 2 months. The gas flow was great last fall when I cleaned the carb. Thanks for the links! I'll redo the fuel line and check for crap in the carb bowl! Can this spark plug (J6C) be picked at any auto store or NAPA?
