Re: spark plugs

40, 48, 50 (2-Cylinder) 1980 - 1988 L78V Surface Gap or QL77JC4 .030

BRP always recommends Champion plugs.

Re: spark plugs

For what is worth BUHW-2 is the equivalent of L78V

The nearest NGK equivalent of QL77JC4 is BZ7HS-10

If you are forced to use NGK plugs take care not to use a resistor plug.
BR7HS-10 is not an acceptable alternative in an OMC CDI system despite the fact you'll often find it quoted as an equivalent of QL77JC4
