Depends on the model number (off your transom bracket), but if it takes Champion J6J or J6C's (like a 1970 engine) than NGK recommends the B6S. <br />B = 14mm thread<br />6 = heat range (coincedence on it hitting the Champ no., NGK's scale is backwards from Champ's)<br />S = 3/8" reach.<br />I know some folks here recommend Champions in Johnson/Evinrudes. I'm currently running the B6S's and have yet to decide.<br />PS - a B7S may be a better match but I can't find them. Lot's of B7HS but they have a 1/2" reach (thread length)
