i have a client, got his boat running great, but he is a tinkerer. well he took it out, had to tinker, mess up the linc n sinc. could not make it back to the ramp. left it tied to a dock in the river. had a auto bilge pump he had never checked.

we have been having some really heavy afternoon rains. well the pump did not work, boat sank. he got it up, told him how to get motor started, and he saved it. but, guess what, he did not address the bilge pump. sank again, twice in one week. got it up, started, now sitting in the work yard, for me to go thru it.

if you leave it in the water, make sure the pump works. all you have to do, is throw a bucket of water in the bilge.

wow, bummer, sunk twice.

i got to check out a fella fishing for boats too this weekend too. and he caught one too. had her snagged by the bow line. a trisonic very similar to the one i have in my backyard. i didn't stick around too long, as there was a pretty good crowd at the ramp and i was off loading and wanted to get out on the water. but i did get the chance to talk to the fella for a few moments. he said to me, just think, three weeks ago it had a tree growing out of the deck...
hard to say why his boat sank...
