I purchased an older Starcraft Closed Bow 18' w/OMC I/O. When I bought it I was under the impression from the previous owner that the boat was a 1974. After reading other post regarding model years I have discovered from the serial number that it is indeed a 1982 (STRH32590582-A2). I would like to know the specific model. The closest I have come is a 1982 SS180 which has the same paint scheme but twin outboards and open bow. Please help.

The SS is Super Sport...usually open bow to my knowledge, and generally an outboard model.
I don't remember the names of the I/O's...I'll do some looking..

My 1975 18ft is a Holiday. It came with an OMC I/O but I've junked it and hung an 115 Hp Evinrude out back.

The OMC is garbage and is expensive to fix.

Actually, if it's an aluminum boat with an open bow configuration, it's a Super Sport. If it's closed bow, then it's the Holiday...
- Scott
