Hi all,

I am tryiong another angle on this.

Can anyone advise of the pecs of this unit ? flow rates, volumes, temps, pressures etc so I can have one made ?

You're probably not going to find that info. You'll have to do it based on current models. You already know they're 4" in diameter. Someone on here should have one installed that they can provide the length.

Input and output hose and fitting size can be measured. TEMP is standard, the engine will have a 160 deg stat, pressure is also standard....it should handle up to about 20 psi.

You can probably just find a good used one on ebay. That size unit is not just used on the 470. similar sized units are used on V-6's and other 6 cyl and larger engines.

It's ok if it's a little too "big" as long as you can mount it and plumb it.

It can be mounted anyplace as long as the hoses hook up.
