Well today I did my impeller since the boat stopped shooting water out of the back of the motor...well lets just say now you can shower with the water coming out :D

When I went to put the lower end of the motor back on I got it all bolted up and realized the shift linkage coupling is missing.

Went to the marina they wanted 25$ for it..I was looking at it seemed simple enought to go to Homedepot or Lowes and figure it out..

Spent 58cents and drilled 2 holes, made one and it works perfectly.

Took the boat out and it got up to about 37MPH and its a windy choppy white cap day.

Great now I got that all fixed and speed back up....

I filled the boat up with about 10GAL of fuel, went half way up the lake and back, 150 yards from the boat ramp I ran out of fuel..Something has to be wrong.

I didnt have WOT all the way there or back.

Running to rich or just normal for the Force?

Towing it home my truck ran out of Diesel also...ironic

Well sorry that happened....but just for giggles....how far is half way up the lake? LOL Also, not having it wot is not nearly as bad as having it on the verge of planing off...then you actually use alot more fuel cause your pushing the water instead of riding on top of it.

I figure my 125 burns about 7 to 8 gals/hr with just me at what I consider low cruise 3800-4000 rpm, 10-12 gals/hr with a heavier load or running WOT. These numbers might be off as I haven't done a fuel consumption test in a few years
