Yeah, ya gotta make a wide open throttle run and record the RPM and speed when she is flat out and not making any more speed.... and note the number of passengers, am't of fuel and the am't of stuff on board.
Make a run in two directions and average the numbers, unless you are doing it on a non-tidal lake with zero wind.
