I finally got my boat out for it's first run after doing the needed repairs that we could find to the 280 out drive and the AQ131D motor.
While running my friend and I got into a discussion on what top speed will be with the boat. I said probably bout 30 mph. He said no way 20 tops. My reply was Bayliner sold many of these boats with this motor, if top end was only 20 mph they would not have sold many. It's a Bayliner, 20' cuddy with top, I think under 4000 lbs. What do you think?
