Secondly I have a 95 586zp w/ 4.3 liter mercruiser.
My problem (for now anyway) is how does the speedo work? Is it by vacuum or pressure? The former owner didn't fully understand the concept of squeeze, turn, then pull and broke the plastic clip connecting the rubber hose from the speedo to the lower unit. And how hard is it to fix the connecter?
