Hi all, new to this so don't beat me up to bad. My question is this I bought a new dash for my boat and it came with new guages. I never had speed and rpm on old one. I am sure there is a sensor or something I have to put on the motor or something to make these workable. Any help will be appreciated Thanks ihecig

Re: speedometer-rpm

What does the back of the speedometer look like. Most work off a pitot tube that connects to a pitot at the transom or on the motor leg.
What model and year is your motor?
The tach send wire connects to the alternator side of your Rectifier/regulator. You need to know the model and year of your motor to set the little switch on the back of your tach.
