I have a 1984 Skeeter boat with a 1985 Force 85hp motor, does anybody know where I can get a speedometer and a tachometer (rpms) for my boat? Do I have to get them to match my motor?

Thank you for your help,

Mark

usually tachometers are fairly versitile but if you use one that isnt for your boat it should be accurate. as far as speedometers go i would try west marine or just search it in google or bing.

West Marine, bass pro. Just find a good place to rerun the cable and mount the speedometer.

Just FYI a good GPS will do speed as well and the iPhone has a marine application that works very well for $4.99

Re: Speedometer

if you have the prestolite ignition[ modules & coils] youll need a twenty pole tach, no other one will work, the only one i know of is the red international and they also have a matching speedo, i got mine at overtons.com good luck don

If you've got an iPhone, there are now free apps that are extremely accurate.
