Hello I have a 68 Fabuglas that is 16 feet long. Its a tri hull. I have spider cracks all threout the floor. They are not deep at all but they are all over the floor. Where should i drill to get a sample of the stringers? is it possible that i have an all fiberglass floor? The guy who owned it before me was a family friend who has always kept it covered and left the plugs out when not in use. also i have already checked the transom and it has no rot at all. it is solid just like the floor. just has no cracks.

Re: spider crack

Over time, I know boats will develope spider cracks, I don't think its anything serious, most likely more cosmetically then anything. Im sure someone will be able to tell you were to go from there. If its just cosmetics you can sand it a little, then go from there. You should be safe tho.:)

I think a picture would really help here.
