Spiral Cell Batteries worth it?

Time to replace the trolling motor battery. Are Spiral cells worth the extra cash? Would I be better off to get a lead battery and an on board charger. Trolling motor is used all day when fishing. Boat is 16' Grumman V hull.

"I" think that a Quality Name Brand Marine Deep-cycle is Plenty Tough Enough..... Then you can spend the change on Baits,+ Fuel,+ Beers......<br />I've had Excellent Luck with Excide, or Diehard, or Interstate.......

I'm with Bondo on this one... Unless your fishing every day and need fast recharge times, I'd stick with the lead/acid deep cycle batts...<br /><br />Wal-mart Everstart batterys have done good for me..

I'd go with lead-acid and an onboard charger.
