Splash deflectors

Who has dual splash deflectors (upper & lower) like in the link below ?

Does the lower deflectors cause a bow shutter in small or high chop on your pontoon ?

My Crest has two deflectors sort of like the picture and I can't tell the difference between it and my daughter's Sylvan with a single deflector.
