i spect i be new here tried ta post a wile ago and it didnt take so now i have new questions

i have a 75 17' Rinell deep V tri-hull I/O i found a lava rock under the surface repaired that and ripped out a motor Mont sank it on the beach
tried to dry it out dripped all winter but still to heavy (WATER LOGGED) ok
once i was told that i could separate the top from the bottom at the bumper seam and lift the top of to get all the old foam out but all i hear of is cutting the floor out
can i separate the haves of not??

Re: Split???

yup.....thats how you do it.....rubber rub rail comes off.....drill out aluminimum rivets holding alum extrusion.......pull off alum rail.....
and then slip a knife between the hull and deck joint.....lift off cap...

see "hull extension in progress"

however.....you dont need to take the cap off to do the deck in that boat....

just get in there with a circ saw and getter done
