Sponson Idea - Input?

I have a 14' Starcraft. The hull has rounded chines in the rear. (A jon boat has squared off rear corners) I was looking at a jet ski today and realized it has sponsons. Tick tick tick the brain is thinking.... would the addition of these sponsons on my hull have any effect? <br /><br />I know they would change the turning ability and they can even be adjusted to effect bow lift or stern lift. They are used and ajusted for stability on jet skis.<br /><br />Dammit it is raining out (again) and my boat is still in my project in progess stage...... all this time on my hands to think!<br /><br />Input? Opinions?
