Hearing a "chatter" near jackshaft / outdrive connection. But it is not a constant noise. Noise only occurs sporadically. "Chatter" noise occurs while in neutral at idle (~650 RPMs). Upper unit is new. U-Joints recently greased. Gimbal bearing checked July 2019 while outdrive was off. It seemed good.

I'll try to add links to 2 short videos. First video will be when everything sounds normal. Second video captures the "chatter", which doesn't last long.

Boat Info
- 1986 Rampage 24 Express
- Engine is mounted in the center of the boat and connected to sterndrive by a jackshaft
- Engine is 1998 Mercruiser 5.7 (0M048938) FWC with 2 bbl carb
- Drive is either an MR or Alpha One
