sport jet 90, quick wiring question

Does anyone know how the saftey shut off switch on a old sea rayder with a sport jet 90 works. There are 4 wires going in and im trying to figure out how its supposed to work. Theres a black and black with yellow stripe wire going in and two yellow with red stripe wires. I want to know how to check the switch with a meter.

Also there is a stop circut with that black/yellow wire when everything is operating correctly what signal should the switch box/ engine computer be geting from this black and yellow wire.

Any help would be great, i have the manual but it dose not really help with these questions it just shows what wire go where not what voltage they should get in normal opertion or how the switches operate.
