sportwin 10 year id and tank help.

My cousin is letting me use his evinrude sportwin 10. The serial number is 10014 04992. Anyone know what year it is? And the tank, I am assuming the small silver handle is how you pump the line? There is fuel in the tank and in the line that is OLD. How can I get the fuel out of the tank line, so it will not be fed into the engine.. Thanks.

The fitting on the line has a spring loaded ball bearing. You can temporarily open it by pushing the end a small cable tie past the ball while you drain the line. .
