If this is not the appropriate forum, I will be happy to re-post.
I have an 18" PROcraft bass boat. Last summer I replaced one of my fish finders. The new transducer, mounted on the transom, is larger than the old one was, but is essentially the same shape and in almost the same place. While under power, the new transducer sends a giant spray of water right at the engine. I am sure it does no harm, but water ends up all over the back of the boat. Is there something I can buy or make to mount just in front of the transducer that would cut through the water first and eliminate or reduce this problem?
Any advice appreciated,
David
