Spray Paint...

I have a problem that is pretty annoying. Instead of new vinyl, I used spray paint made for vinyl. Half of the boat looks really good. The other half has some dirty spots. From my mechanic, etc. Is there a way to clean spray paint. Soap and water isn't exactly doing the trick.

You could use a paint thinner to clean all the vinyl and remove the grease and repaint the vinyl. Or there are wax and grease removers available in your paint stores.

MMM... Let us know the outcome of this one. I've never used the vinyl spray paint, although there is a guy around here that just did all of the booths in a restaurant. I was wondering if all of the patrons wearing light colored clothes would come out with a blue derriere!

goo gone citrus will not eat the paint, goof off will if you give it long enough.<br /><br />but..the nice thing about vinyl dye is that you can touch it up, right? so just respray the cushions that got messed up

I never seen this type of paint before. Where do you get it and who makes it? If you spray on vinyl seats that have some give due to the foam inside would they crack?<br /><br />Thanks<br />Bob W.

Vinyl Dye is a paint but it soaks into the plastic and will not rub off. Matter O fact I did a keyboard and wrist rest three years ago. Ok I did the monitor and the face on the computer too. The "paint" shows a wear patern where my hands rub the keyboard like the original plastic but has not worn off.

Spray painted the computer, LOL, did you use some 5200 too ??? Just bustin RG, I hear ya, keepin it real!
