Spray Starting Fluid Motor Starts - than Stalls - 1985 140HP Johnson

Motor was running last season. 50:1 New Gas Mixture. Won,t Start? Spray starting fluid in carbs she runs for couple seconds than stalls?

Remove plugs on bottom of carburetor bowls ( one on each ) and see if there is fuel in them.

Never use starting fluid on a two stroke it will wash the oil off the bearings and do damage.

Thanks I will check for fuel and remove plugs Sunday. I completely forget about never using starting fluid. Thanks
