I decided to post this because I did a bunch of research on here and was curous about whether it would be ok to spray Interlux perfection without a respirator.

WOW. I am glad I got one. I sprayed outside with a hplv gun I did two coats of primer and two of perfection. Buy a resp if you are going to spray perfection...

I will post pics... all in all about 8 hours of prep and 1 hour total of painting..

Re: Sprayed Perfection today

I tried spraying perfection one time...this was after my primer was sanded smooth .. still looked like gelcoat was blown on there :) .

So do you mind if I ask what did you reduce it with..and at what % ?

How did it turn out in your opinion ?

Did you sand between coats or just spray 2 coats..and what flash time did you give it.

Basically .. how and what did you do to apply the perfection with a gun..

Just curious if I ever had to use this stuff in the future...

Yeah again pictures please, I too tried perfection and wasn't impressed. Ended up sanding and going back to my trusted Imron. (I know some here don't like Imron either but I've always had great results with it).
