Spun prop of something else?

Hello, curious about this boards thoughts on this one. It’s a 08 VP 4.3gxi-j with an sx-a out drive. I ended up hitting a stick this weekend - I’d say the size of a forearm. Engine immediately felt like it was cavitating. Stopped, checked it out and all appeared fine. Went to get back on plane and the boat did the same thing at about 2400rpm, it would let loose. Did this twice, same result. Slowly brought up the throttle a third time and was able to go full throttle. We were on our way to the ramp at the time - no visible damage at all once we got it on the trailer. Anything I should look at? Been meaning to get a spare prop anyway, so this is my excuse with the co-captain.

If you wanna check for a spun prop, pull off the prop and take a sharpie and make a straight line across the prop and rubber hub on the rear of prop. reinstall and run the prop for 2-3 minutes. Pull the prop off and look at the lines. If they aren't lined up anymore, you hub is spun.
