spun prop?

how do i know if i have a spun prop?? what damage do i look for on the prop.. I dont even know what a good prop and cap is suppose to look like

Draw a indelable line across the underside of the hub.Make a run and check if
the line still lines up.

Howdy. What kind of boat is it? Is it IO, Outboard or Inboard?

Generally speaking I imagine you gotta take the prop off to get to the hub. Once you take off the prop flip it over. Of course there are a lot of variables that depends on some missing details in your post, the experts here (not me) are probably going to need some more info to help you out.
