Hey Gang

The subject line about tells it all. Sort of. :D
Guess I'd want a 25-75 hp motor, pre-85. OK, I'll fess up. I'm only looking for pre-85 just because of the price factor. If you have a later model on the cheap, I'll consider it.

thanks
Billy Bob

Re: St Louis, MO area still looking for good running outboard

I have a 1957(8) Johnson 35hp short shaft that I will let go of for $400.00. I'm only three hours away in Indiana. Right across the border. I completely went through this engine four years ago and it still runs great. I commercial fished the Ohio and broke my wrist last September. Didn't heal right and I could no longer pull start it. Got a '91 25hp johnny. Don't like it as much as my old gal but it is elec. start.

Fireman

Thanks for the reply. Not sure that I wanted to go as far back as the 50's. Let me think it over.

Billy Bob

Hey Rick

What is the model number of this motor? Also, just checking price guide for 1988 25's and 30's. Their top model 25 had an average retail of about $320 and the top model 30 had an average retail of about $390. I realize that it is only a guide but wondered how you came to a price on yours? BTW, couldn't find a 28hp for '88, was that a tyop? :D

Billy Bob
