stainless props--double cupping and blade thinning? does this help?

Saw these as advertised services from a prop shop. What advantages do these items have on prop performance?

Do you have a problem? Do you have a high powered go-fast boat? If not, then double cupping and/or blade thinning will not do anything for you boat/engine.

Blade thinning does reduce the amount of parasitic drag the prop has but unless you are racing it won't make much differenc in speed.
