Stainless steel props?

I've got a Highfive prop on my boat and noticed a few chips in the leading edge of the blades have some small nicks and dents. My question is, can you refinish the prop or should I take it to a pro. I kind like to tinker around on things so if it's a labour intensive project I don't really mind too much!

You could beat the dents out of it, and smooth up the edges, but you have no way of determining it the pitch has been changed by all the dings and bends or if you bent it back correctly. If you have done this a lot, it probably needs to be checked out by a pro.
