stains on vinyl seats

how do I remove stains from my vinyl boat seats. I am not sure if it is tree sap or bird dung or what but I have tried many cleaners and they do not touch it, any suggestions?

If the stain is on white vinyl you can try a SOS, or Brillo pad with some Ajax or Comet cleanser. On colored vinyl use the SOS and a strong cleaner like ZEP Industural Purple cut 50% with water. Zep Purple can be bought in gallons at Home Depot for $8, and it is great for cleaning almost everything. Cut 50/50 with water you can clean tires, upholstry, degrease an engine etc.... After cleaning apply some Armorall, and work it in with a soft brush. <br />Just my $0.02

White seats clean up best with softscrub.If the entire stain does not come out ,then take a sponge and put some bleach on it and hold it on the stain making sure not to get any bleach on the threads.Rinse the spot well when done and if you get any bleach on the threads dont panic,just make sure you rinse well with w ater before it dries.Treat the seats with some formula 303 when you are done.It goes on like armor-all but preserves the vinyl from sunrays.Armorall will eventually harm the vinyl.Charlie
