I have a 1985 Evinrude GT150. Last year the last time I took it out it stalled dead when running about 3/4 throttle. It was really hard to get back started but finally did and as long as I was at idle speed would run. When I got home the fuel filter has trash in it so I figured that was it. Took it out about two hours ago, took off and run about 1/2 throttle for probably about 5 minutes then boom it stalled just like before. Pulled cover and checked filter and it is fine and full of fuel. Also right before it dies the motor sound kind of changes and sounds funny. Hard to describe but it is kind of a hollow like sound. I got it restarted and run it about 3 more minutes at 3/4 throttle this time and it did it again. The speeds are much slower and motor has bogged down feeling. Motor idles and runs wake speed but is rougher than it used to be.
