I am replacing the plywood on my bowrider and reusing the foam and ordered new grey 30 oz. vinyl. I have a PC air stapler that shoots narrow crown staples, I have galvanized 1/2 staples already and longer, they don't come any shorter and I have never seen stainless. Should I use these staples or buy regular width monel staples and use my old mechanical stapler? Any help is appreciated:)

i would use them personally. they will last as long as the vinyl, or you can restaple in a couple of years.

I am not familiar with what staples you require but, Home depot carries stainless steel staples which I use in my electric gun.

the pneumatic ones my gun shoots are only 1/4 wide but very thick guage, they start at 1/2 length and run up to 1 1/2 mostly used for wood and thick runner rugs. I have never seen them used on thin vinyl, but a have a depth adjustment above the trigger.
