Starboard Starlight XL

I have been reading about this stuff , and was thinking about using it in my open bow for the backing for side cushions etc. It says you can staple it etc. anyone used ? thoughts ?

Far as I can tell, "StarLite" XL is basically the same thing as "Starboard" XL, just made from recycled Starboard. All the tech specs are the same, I assume the only real differences are fewer color choices and maybe the surface isn't as nice-looking:

I used 1/4" Starboard XL to make instrument panels and such, it does machine quite nicely with woodworking tools (countersinking drill bit, table saw, router) and takes screws well. I did consider that or Starlite XL for my bolster cushion backings, but after playing with my manual staple gun on some scraps, no frickin' way. Maybe if you have a pneumatic staple gun.
