I replaced my tilt and trim sensors.. The one on the Starboard side (which I believe is to stop the drive to come to far up) said it should be 21" 3/4".. That is almost hitting the ground on my trailer. I have a 1984 ekbo v164 if that matters.. I am running a alpha one gen 1 but not sure which one.. I am almost at 25" and am scrapping on bumps.. What am I doing wrong?

We need to see a picture of the back of the boat on the trailer. And this needs to moved to the right section.

The trim limit switch is only to stop trimming past a safe extension or using you number, 21 3/4". Tilt or trailer switch will raise the drive higher. Are you tilting the drive all the way up?

I guess I am not tilting drive all the way up.. So trim switch only stops drive underway? What stops trailer switch then?

I will get picture with boat on trailer.. This is the stuff I been though .. Only have adjustments left.. My trim gauge doesn't work by the way, not sure if that is relevant.

Ayuh,...... In it's Oem application, the tilt switch runs the drive from full down, up to the trim limit,......

Then you use the trailer/ tilt switch, which over-rides the limit switch to Full up,.....

At full up, you'll hear the pump over-load, which is when you take yer finger off the switch to turn the pump off,.....

At that point, I tap the down switch abit, to unload the bind on the pump, 'n valves there-in,.....

Good info.. I get confused on the switches.. Another question is my trailer-tilt switch doesn't make drive go down.. My trim does.. What would cause this?
