The serial number on my Starcraft boat is 61-740. Does that mean it is a 1961 model.

Serial numbers are a real crap shoot to decode. We usually require pictures and measurements to id a boat.

To directly answer your question. Dunno, probably not.

My '66 begins 66 for what it's worth. Others have SCs around the same years as mine and the SN doesn't begin with the year. So maybe yes, maybe no. Do you happen to have a title or past registration?

im new to star craft also i bout this one and i love to know the year and everything i could find abt it but have found anything on it concretethe previous owner was clueless, id love to know where you even found the seriel # any input would be great
