I am looking for info on a Starcraft Model # 16 SUS O/B. I think its from the '70s but unsure.

Probably a Super Sport 16. Decent enough boats. A couple 1970s brochures are posted at the Yahoo Starcraft Owners group:

I recently bought a Starcraft 16 SUS O/B. What type of information are you looking for. I have been trying to investigate that model too. I was a little confused because of the SUS naming. I know its a 1978 with a 1978 Evinrude 70hp on it. I also think it is a super sport, I compared a ton of pictures to my boat to try and figure it out. I know I was confused because a lot of other people that have super sports have SS on the coast guard plate. But mine says 16 SUS O/B just like yours...

Do you have some pictures?

Yea I do have some pictures. I looked it up and couldn't find any info on them. I think mine might be a 76 has it has a 76 Evinrude 55hp. Here are some pics of it. It needs work done on it and the Garage its in is messy.

I have a similar boat but its a 73 model. My inlaws have it now but I'm going over there tonight and will check the VINplate. It is an excellent boat.

Turns out my old Starcraft is a 16 SUS model as well.

I have had it out in the water and it runs well, I need to rebuild the carbs though just to be sure, leaks a bit, but I can see a few rivets missing.

I will eventually totally restore it, I just want to get a little boating in this summer first .
