Most of those Starcraft aluminum boats are just a mattery of a removing a lot of bolts, then pull the transom wood out the top, even if it means doing a little bending of the upper gunwale sheetmetal. I've done several now, not too big a project compared to some others. If you've got an I/O boat, then your looking at a power train removal first. Then the rest is pretty straight forward.
