Starcraft fiberglass colour

Hi there,

my fiberglass hull is about 30 years old and is a bit rough and the colour fading. Question: apart from polishing can the hull be resprayed or is the fiberglass coloured within itself. What are your experiences?

It probably needs to be sanded down and painted. 30 yr old paint tends to chalk and fade.
