Starcraft fiberglass ???

Hello I am new to this forum. Hope I am posting this in the right area. My question is I am looking at purchasing a 1996 starcraft fiberglass i/o boat mainly for pleasure and not for fishing in rough waters. Were starcrafts known for good fiberglass construction? I am new to this boating hobbie so I am fairly green. If anyone has an opinion I will listen. I hope there are some boating experts out there that will weigh in. Thanks.

Starcraft was [is]? a good brand. You shouldn't have any problems with the fiberglass. If the fiberglass was in good condition when you bought it, just maintain it and you'll be ok.

I had until recently a 1987 Starcraft fiberglass boat that i wish i still had
Starcraft IMO are built right up there with the best

we just purchased our first boat - 96 Starcraft 1700 ob - had it out about 5 times so far and not a drop of water in it.

I just bought a 93 Starcraft 17' bowrider outboard about 6 weeks ago. Have had it out 4 times now. No complaints what so ever. I also haven't heard anything negative about them.
