I am wondering if anyone has experience removing the covered bow portion of their boat and replacing it with a fishing deck.
I have a 1974 16ft starcraft holiday. I've been told/ am worried about losing stability, but maybe it could be reinforced in a rebuild.
Any examples on here that I could check out, or does anyone have personal experience.
Otherwise I am thinking about adding additional bracing to the existing bow cover, and putting a nice rubber grip flooring of some sort on top, as a nice casting area in shallower/calmer water.
Any ideas??
