I have a couple of questions to ask as this is my first tome rebuilding a boat and I want to do it right. So any advice you can give would be much appreciated.
1: Does anybody have any advice on converting my boat from an i/o to an outboard?
2: How much styrofoam if any do I need to have under the floor?

1. It's been talked about and dreamed about by many, but haven't seen anyone actually do it on here.

2. As much as possible. Anything less and you will only be able to "hope" it will float if swamped.

3. You must post pictures in order to get any more info from anyone. Then the floodgates of info will be opened.

If it was mine, I'd got with a bracket like this:

as opposed to trying to cut down the transom and create a splashwell.
