Starcraft how much it worth?

I am looking for the advice for 1967 Starcraft 2 cylinders 35 hp, he did not mention about a year or running condition.

What do you think it worth? he said, $ 2000.00 or best offer. I think it is aluminum boat that what i look for.. Thank you.

Kinda looks like a Jet Star to me...

We commonly see them go for much less than that.

I bought this one for $200...

I wouldn't pay more than $500 (assuming the motor runs).

no way unless (maybe even if) it were some show-quality antique restoration. PLus that's a long-shaft motor on a short shaft boat, 'pears to me.

The fact that the ad says 35 and the motor says 25 says something about the seller's integrity--he's either cheating you or cheating the law. Does he have an eye patch and a parrot on his shoulder?

I agree with the other's pricing but I'm closer to the lower end ($500). The fact that he's tryng to get 2 large is a good reason not even to call.

I agree. Hold out and you'll find a better deal. You should be able to find something similar for well under half the asking price. Patience is key.

It's so funny that you all say that. When we (my dad's boat for the family) replaced the old starcraft bowrider with a new key west DC, and granted, the old starcraft was right rickety, my wife said, "I always felt like I was going to get cut on that thing."

Agreed, either he has a highly inflated opinion of what it is worth, or he's trying to take you for a ride and have you pay for the gas.

I don't know where the OP lives, but here in the center of NYS....$2000 bucks will buy you a pretty darn good boat(with running motor). Non-running boats like the one posted here typically sell for $250-400 max.

I only paid $300 for my the '67 Glasspar(in my avatar) and the boat was/is in rock solid condition. It just needed a wire harness to get it running.

I would agree with the guys above, $500 tops! I paid $900 for mine, but it was completely repainter and a brand new interior, and I was able to go take it out on the lake an hr after buying it. Over in the Starcraft forum there is a thread with CL finds.. Jets are plentiful in the upper midwest for $300-$500.
