I came across a 15' Starcraft yesterday...interesting lapstrake/aluminum runabout. I finally found the ID plate saying it's a Starcraft 15 Jet, apparently a 1960. Does anyone have any knowledge of these? Kinda resembles the Feathercrafts of that era.

Re: Starcraft Jet?

They had a model called the "Jet Star" back in that era. Might there be a part of the plaque missing?

There is some info on Fiberglassics.com on older Starcrafts (To the Boats Section)...

- Scott

I have a 1961 Starcraft Jet. The plate just says Jet. Looking for parts to restore.

Re: Starcraft Jet?

The Jet was one of the smallest of the aluminum runabout series, it was the baby brother to the Jupiter and Sea Mist models. It shared the same construction but was proportionally smaller. There was a model just call Jet.
Great boats.
I've seen a few older brochures online but I think the earliest I've seen is a 1962.
