starcraft ribs ; stringers

Hello guys.....thanks for all the restoration tips for starcraft boats. I'm trying to replace the deck on a starcraft offshore 18 '. After tearing out the floor ( I wasn't very gentle ) I now have oversize holes in the ribs and stringers. I guess that I should just try and find solid metal and drill new holes for pop rivets. Solid metal is at a premimium in the ribs and stringers as this will be at least the third deck. I'm not the most tech savvy .... so no pic's. Thanks for your responses.

Guess your *** is in a sling...lol OK just kidding..

No sense in letting ya know you could have drilled out those rivets huh?

I would just drill new holes for the rivets in good metal where you can find it, may hafta zig zag around but I bet you can get enough rivets in to hold down your decking..
