hello, i have a 1986 110 hp omc, problem : turn key to start nothing sometimes faint click, push in for choke nothing, jumped out starter soilnoid with key on motor starts, bad ignition switch? or bad solinoid for starter? thanks for any help!

thanks for the reply. its a very good start, i think that i may have a bad starter solinoid, have a parts motor in garage will try to swap the parts. when i jump the solinoid the starter spinns freely so i do not think the starter is at fault. or its is a bad switch but i did change that within last 2 yrs!
