Hi all
I have just bought a 2006 bayliner 175. I am new to boating, and the boat did not come with a user manual. I was wondering if someone could give me the correct starting procedure for this boat, any help appreciated. Regards

Welcome aboard colin6. You can go to bayliner's website and download the owner's manual supplement for your boat for free. The supplement is the manual that actually has the specific info for your boat.

Here's the address. http://www.baylinercustomercare.com/ If that doesn't work, just go to the bayliner.com site and look for customer service.

HI i have the same boat. got mine in August 2011 procedure is... turn on key, pump throttle down completely twice, then back to neutral, then TURN THE KEY ! note, when i say 'pump throttle down twice' i mean, first push in the center button (just like if you were gonna revvv the engine ) ...Not Pulling the trigger and pushing throttle forward/down.

Colin6 have you changed the spark plugs ?

New to boating: Just purchased a 2006 Bayliner 175. First start of the day - turn the key nothing happens...let the blower run and boat sit for a few minutes then the boat starts right up ? Boat continues to start and run perfectly all day. Whats up with the First Start Delay ?
